2025 Fall Dive Camps

at Calvin University

Beginner Group A: For divers in elementary school who want to try out the sport, improve basic skills, and have fun. There is no expectation or commitment to compete. Dryland skills, jumps, and basic dives will be taught.

Beginner Group B: For divers in middle school or high school who want to try out the sport, improve basic skills, and have fun. There is no expectation or commitment to compete. Dryland skills, jumps, and basic dives will be taught.

Intermediate Group: For elementary school divers or middle school divers who want a higher level of commitment, have the option to compete in competitions, and have dives or are working towards dives in every direction. (Front, Back, Reverse, Inward, Twisters).

Advanced Group: For high school divers who want a higher level of commitment, have the option to compete in competitions, and have dives or are working towards dives in every direction. (Front, Back, Reverse, Inward, Twisters). Divers in this group are wanting two hour practices instead of three for a less intense but still effective practice regimen.

Intensive Group: For divers who have the highest level of commitment and are planning on competing locally and traveling. These divers will practice for three hours instead of two and are either invited to this team or need permission from the coach to join this team.

Three-Meter Camp: For divers who may be doing high school sports, other sports, or have conflicts making them unavailable for more intense camps. This is a single-day per week camp for divers who don’t want to lose their skills while their schedules are busy and not allowing them to practice more often specifically focusing on the three-meter board.

CAMP POLICIES

ALL CAMPS: Registrations cannot be prorated due to attendance availability.
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED/THREE-METER CAMPS: Two Free Classes are built in for absences, unexpected pool closures, etc.

LOCATION & CHECK IN: Venema Aquatic Center located inside of the Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex. You may enter the pool from the Family Locker Room located on the lower level. Please meet on the blue mats on the pool deck area nearest the diving boards on the first day.
